Finishing up the 1999s

My home Wi-Fi went on the fritz last week, still not able to connect. I apologize for the extended delay. I will finish the last two scans of 1999 cards today. Meanwhile, I will be scanning in the 2000, 2001, and 2002 cards.

I will posting up the rest of my Elway cards in rapid fashion to get them all in by years end. Shouldn't be much of a problem.

1999 John Elway cards. Scans 21-25

Just 19 cards in today's scans.

I guess the perforated parallel cards above (1 in each scan) win best card in their respective groups. Keep in mind this was 1999 and less just say Creativity was NOT at it's best. That doesn't mean there weren't some totally awesome cards, because there was.

Now the "Draw Your Own Cards" may not fall into the totally awesome category, but they are creative. Afterall, they were designed by kids.   How cool it has to be to show your kids a football card issued by Upper Deck of your design.

That is it for now.

1999 Scans 16-20

Picking up where I left of on my birthday.

Scan 16

Although there are some nice inserts and some shiny cards above it does seem a little hard to follow the last post with the 1982 TCMA Elway (baseball) card I landed.

The White Whale

I would be posting the third session of the 1999 cards in my Elway collection. However, tonight I am posting just one card.

Just showed up in my mailbox yesterday, unannounced. There it was. Had the best nights sleep I've had in years. HUGE thanks to fellow OldCardTraders Don Roth.

Adding a little color.

Yes, a baseball card. I wish I owned the actual original Oneonta Yankees card.

John Elway: 1999

Well, the years are dwindling and the stacks are getting smaller, but as I can see the end of the box now, I know that after this year it is either base common or high end stuff. So looking forward to the rest of the year.

Had to rest up from a short vacation.  After today, just one more set of scans from 1998. A lot of parallels so forget about any commentary.

Ah, one more for 98, then I get to scan up all of my 99s.

1998 Elway cards Scans 29-35. What a 1 of 1?

As always not a lot of chit chat, right to the cards. Starting today with a card back view.

I remember when I pulled this out of a pack. I didn't even realize that it was a 1 of 1 until I went to mark it in the computer. I was totally blown away. And the greatest part, is that Beckett doesn't even list it, or at least the several times I checked a few years back. No, i didn't tell them and don't plan on it either. I'm not their biggest fan.

Below you will find the cards backs of the three Complete Players.

That is this weeks 7 scans.
